JUDE: CONTENDING FOR THE FAITH IN TODAY’S CULTURE

LED BY KAREN SHERWOOD

Huntsville Campus, Room 180
June 4 – July 23

Tuesday, 9:30-11 AM
Cost: $20 for Bible Study book and video access, Childcare available by reservation

While often overlooked, the book of Jude remains as relevant today as the time it was written. God has commanded His beloved church to do the necessary work of contending for the faith in a world of unbelief, and as we do, He will keep us from falling into the same deception. In this 7-session study from Jackie Hill Perry, dive into themes of being called, loved, and kept, and learn how to point others to Jesus in grace and truth. We serve others well when we share the whole gospel with them, not just the parts deemed attractive by our culture. Bible Study Book with Video Access.

LIFE UNDER THE SUN: STUDY ON THE BOOK OF ECCLESIASTES

 LED BY PEGGY BOSTICK

Huntsville Campus, Room 180,
June 6 – July 25

Thursdays, 10-11:30 AM
Cost: $16, Childcare available by reservation

“He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also put eternity in their hearts…” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Through this Bible study, Hannah Anderson invites us to consider the wisdom of Ecclesiastes afresh as we search for a solid foundation for life under the sun. Together, we’ll learn to name our anxieties, concerns, and disappointments. We’ll discover how Ecclesiastes is more than self-help or good advice—how it frees us to ask the questions that Jesus Himself will eventually answer. And through its raw honesty and unflinching commitment to goodness, we’ll find hope in the One who guides all days under the sun.

THE BIBLE RECAP

LED BY KELSI JOHNSON AND COURTNEY ALDRIDGE

Madison Campus, The Huddle

No childcare
Saturdays, 10-11:30 AM
Cost: FREE. Will need access to the Bible APP and The Bible Recap podcast by Tara-Leigh Cobble (instructions below). No childcare

Have you ever closed your Bible and wondered what you just read, or tried to read through the Bible in a year, but quit when it felt confusing or impersonal? Are you one of the many who has read through the book of Genesis approximately 20 times, but haven’t gotten to anything beyond that?

The Bible Recap is here to help! Each day you’ll read the assigned reading then listen to The Bible Recap podcast. Tara-Leigh will highlight and summarize that day’s Bible reading in a quick (~8 minutes), casual, and easy to understand way. The Bible Recap will not only help you read scripture but help you love reading it. This group meets monthly for fellowship & discussion

NOTE: No need to purchase a print Chronological Bible; it will likely be laid out differently than our reading plan. All you need is a regular Bible (print or app) and access to The Bible Recap Podcast. You can purchase the optional Bible Recap Journal, if you wish.

Meets on the first Saturday of each month for fellowship & discussion.
