Cost: $15, 12 Sessions, register by clicking the button below

A movement seeks to redefine Christianity. Some think that it is a much-needed progressive reformation. Others believe that it is an attack on historic Christianity.

Another Gospel? describes the intellectual journey Alisa took over several years as she wrestled with a series of questions that struck at the core of the Christian faith. After everything she had ever believed about God, Jesus, and the Bible had been picked apart, she found herself at the brink of despair . . . until God rescued her, helping her to rebuild her faith, one solid brick at a time.

Paul’s letter to the Philippian church challenges us in a practical and relevant way. As believers become distracted by tense relationships, difficult circumstances and spiritual failure, Paul calls Christians to press on in their pursuit of Christ. He inspires us to adjust our attitudes, tame our thought life and submit our will to God’s purposes so we might know Christ more fully. Jesus, Our Joy is an 11-week study of the book of Philippians. This in-depth study includes daily homework to propel you into God’s Word so your heart and mind might truly experience the fulfillment that comes as Jesus becomes the source of your joy.

CO-ED BIBLE STUDIES

Huntsville Campus

EZEKIEL

TAUGHT BY TOM THOMPSON

Huntsville Campus, Room 181, Starts August 10

Wednesdays, 6 PM
Costs: Optional $5 Printable Notebooks

Ezekiel the prophet lived among the Jews who were exiled to Babylon in the sixth century BC.  He confronted the people about their sin and reminded them that disobedience to God’s laws had resulted in their captivity and the destruction of Jerusalem.  Following messages of judgment for Judah and the nations surrounding her, Ezekiel encouraged the people with prophecies of hope and restoration of the nation of Israel.  These messages were often revealed to Ezekiel through visions that portrayed God’s glory and the future deliverance and blessings that the Lord has in store for the Jews.  Please join us this fall for a 14-lesson study of a book that is often neglected due to the difficulty in interpreting the glorious visions and the strange object lessons that the prophet used to communicate God’s message.  The class will be conducted in a hybrid format (students will have the option to participate online or in person).  PowerPoint slides will be provided in electronic and printed format (notebooks can be purchased for $5).
