The Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, was sent by the Father and the Son to forever live within believers in Christ.  The indwelling Spirit comforts, teaches, and guides us into the truth about Christ and the Word of God.  He empowers us to resist the tug of sin on our lives and to bear fruit that testifies to His working within us.  He fills us with His presence and equips us with gifts to express the love of Christ through the ministry of the local church.  Are you frustrated trying to live the Christian life in your own strength?  Come join us as we grow in our awareness and understanding of who the Spirit is, what He does, and how He transforms us to become more like Christ.  The class consists of fourteen sessions conducted in a hybrid format (students will have a choice of participating online or in person). PowerPoint slides will be provided in electronic and printed format.

Calling all Men! Join us as we explore Paul’s parting epistles to Timothy and Titus, two followers of Jesus that Paul considered to be his “sons in the faith.” We will begin with 1 Timothy and continue on into 2 Timothy and intertwine Titus in the study as it parallels Paul’s letters to Timothy. The goal is to better understand our role as men who follow Jesus and encourage those around us to do the same, regardless of whether they’re a family member, a neighbor, a friend or coworker.

Have you ever closed your Bible and wondered what you just read, or tried to read through the Bible in a year, but quit when it felt confusing or impersonal? Are you one of the many who has read through the book of Genesis approximately 20 times, but haven’t gotten to anything beyond that?

The Bible Recap is here to help! Each day you’ll read the assigned reading then listen to The Bible Recap podcast. Tara-Leigh will highlight and summarize that day’s Bible reading in a quick (~8 minutes), casual, and easy to understand way. The Bible Recap will not only help you read scripture but help you love reading it.

Readings begin Jan 1. Will meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month from Jan-Dec

In this 10-session verse-by-verse study of Exodus 1-18, Jen Wilkin shows us that Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. He lifts our eyes to the promised land He has prepared where we dwell with I AM and worship Him as the one true God.

Single Moms, join us as we study Jesus’ most well-known teaching—the Sermon on the Mount. Rather than exploring these passages individually, we will discover how they fit together as one powerful message about what it truly means to follow Christ. In this 9-session study, you will gain a deeper understanding of kingdom living and learn how Jesus calls His disciples to think, speak, and live.

Single Mom Connection exists to cultivate a Christ-centered community where single mothers are encouraged, equipped, and empowered to lead their families with faith, resilience, and hope. Through meaningful relationships and biblical guidance, we desire to help each mom discover and walk confidently in her God-given purpose.
