Huntsville Campus, Room 181, Begins January 11, 2023

Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 PM
Cost: PowerPoint slides will be provided electronically and notebooks (with all printed notes) will be available for $5 (optional).

The Book of Zechariah was written to encourage the remnant of Jews who returned from captivity to rebuild the temple and to live righteously in anticipation of the coming Messiah.  Zechariah, who wrote more about the Messiah than any other prophet except Isaiah, used a series of visions and prophetic messages to portray the Lord Jesus Christ in His first and second comings.  Please join us as we share the hope of this encouraging and revealing message of Messiah’s return to rule the earth!

Students will have the option to attend in person or online (via Zoom).

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us?

In three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Huntsville Campus, Room 133

Thursdays, 10:00-11:30 AM

You can know a lot about Jesus and not know Him at all. We’re not meant to simply know a lot of facts about Jesus. Truly knowing someone requires personal knowledge coming from being with someone over time and building trust. We come to know God personally when we spend time with Him, when we build trust in Him, when we share our life with Him.

Join Megan Fate Marshman in this eight-week Bible study to respond to and really get to know Jesus in a personal and intimate way. This study through the Gospel of John focuses on dissecting His seven “I Am” statements, where we come to learn what Jesus wants us to know most about His character and love for us.

GENTLE AND LOWLY: THE HEART OF CHRIST FOR SINNERS AND SUFFERERS

FACILITATED BY PASTOR JARED ALLEN

Chick-fil-A at 8300 Hwy 72 W, Madison, AL 35758

Fridays, 6:30 AM
Cost: Register and buy the book by clicking the button below

Christians know that God loves them, but can easily feel that he is perpetually disappointed and frustrated, maybe even close to giving up on them. As a result, they focus a lot―and rightly so―on what Jesus has done to appease God’s wrath for sin. But how does Jesus Christ actually feel about his people amid all their sins and failures?

This book draws us to Matthew 11, where Jesus describes himself as “gentle and lowly in heart,” longing for his people to find rest in him.

Paul’s letter to the Philippian church challenges us in a practical and relevant way. As believers become distracted by tense relationships, difficult circumstances, and spiritual failure, Paul calls Christians to press on in their pursuit of Christ. He inspires us to adjust our attitudes, tame our thought life and submit our will to God’s purposes so we might know Christ more fully. Jesus, Our Joy is an 11-week study of the book of Philippians. This in-depth study includes daily homework to propel you into God’s Word so your heart and mind might truly experience the fulfillment that comes as Jesus becomes the source of your joy. (11 weeks)
