What we do every week.
The same class is offered both at 9:15 and 10:45. We begin with a worship song using a DVD with lyrics followed by an engaging short Bible Story on DVD using the Gospel Project curriculum. We then have activities to learn the unit memory verse, review the lesson and help them understand how it can fit into their everyday life. Children are sent home each week with their Journal Page that has a letter to parents about the lesson and key passage from that morning as well as review questions, short family activity and note about next Sunday’s lesson.
Begins at 4:15 until 6:30pm while parents attend adult life group. Children are given a Bible lesson with 252 Basics curriculum using a DVD lesson and activities to help them apply it to daily life. They also play games and have free time. Children may bring a sack dinner or snacks with them to eat at beginning of class if they choose. Children are sent home with a GodTime sheet, a four day devotion that kids can use that week.
Wednesday Nights – CURRENTLY PAUSED DUE TO COVID-19
During the school year, we meet from 6:30-8pm with all GoKids together in one class for missions called Children in Action. Kids learn about missions across the US and the world as well as our own community through stories, crafts, mission activities, and guest speakers.
You will need to register your child in the WillowbrookLife system by creating a family profile at either the preschool or GoKids desk (to the right as you enter). You will type in your names, children’s birthdates/grades, mobile number and carrier (to text you during service if needed), address, and email. Our desk volunteers will assist you and take facial photos which are used to check out your child. Once your child is registered, he/she may be checked into class each time you come to Willowbrook at one of the computer kiosk in the children’s area. You will receive 2 nametags (one is for the child to wear and the other is to give to the teacher for the class roster) from the printer as well as a security code to check out your child. The security code can be torn in half so that you and your spouse may each pick up children at the same time and is a sticker so that you can stick it on your clothes to not lose it.
GoKids always start in the GoKids room for large group time. They will then go to their small group class based on ages/grades. You will check your child out at their class using the security code printed at the time you checked in.

The Answers Are Here
How do I check-in/check-out my child?
Once your child is registered (see Registration), use a kiosk in the children’s area to check in before any class. To check them out, show the security code that was printed at the time of check in to the class teacher.
Who are the Teachers in GoKids?
They are dedicated volunteers who lead the children through the Bible lesson and activities. They are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the bible. Some are parents of young kids, others are not parents yet or are parents of adult children. Some teach each week, others every other week or every other month. On Sunday nights, we have paid workers so that our volunteers can attend Life Groups.
